The US soldier death toll has reached 3000 according to “LA Times” 1/1/2007.
It may have been time for our president to have withdrawn troops, not this December, but last. 
Critics and proponents alike have reasons to want our forces there or not, but a most compelling reason to have withdrawn, is that the ones already there, are killing far more than are being killed… do we really need to add more US troops, as he’s now considering?

World Cup 2006

Well, World Cup Soccer 2006 (hosted in Germany) was a thrill to watch! Soccer is a phenomena enjoyed by many countries around the globe. This year I am pleased to see the excitement in my own country. It was a fun time watching teams advance. Italy would beat Portugal in the final match of World Cup 2006. Soccer is gaining popularity worldwide and the US performance is proving to increase with vigor.

Well, now the Senate and House are both controlled by the Democrat party… after 12 years of not having done so (I’ve heard). Let’s see what they do and don’t do.
